Florida springs run 72 degrees year round. While that sounds pleasant, water draws heat away from the body much faster than air. That is why we provide our students with 5mm Pinnacle wetsuits—two-thirds thicker than standard 3mm rental suits found elsewhere. Pinnacle is a premier brand based right here in Florida.
We also invest in balanced first-stage regulators: the Hog D1X Yoke Env Classic 2.0 Regulator Set (SKU HOG-0536) paired with a Sea Elite Scout Compact Octopus and Edge Precision 2-Gauge Console. Balanced regulators deliver consistent, easy airflow regardless of depth or cylinder pressure, helping new divers stay relaxed and breathe naturally.
Most facilities replace rental gear every 3 to 5 years. Our goal is to replace our gear every 6 to 12 months. If you like the gear you train in, you can buy it at a substantial discount with a complete verified usage record!
