Troy Springs & Royal Springs
Skill Development in Natural Springs & Ocean Reefs
Nestled in the heart of Florida Springs, Royal Springs beckons divers with its serene ambiance and pool-like conditions. At a comfortable depth of 30 feet, this natural spring offers an ideal setting for honing essential skills such as peak performance buoyancy, compass navigation, and search and recovery techniques.
For divers seeking dynamic depth challenges, Troy Springs provides varying depths down to 70 feet. It is a fantastic location for deep dive training, Nitrox practice, and underwater naturalist exploration surrounded by freshwater gar, turtles, and the sunken remains of a Civil War vessel.
Located within North Central Florida State parks, these springs provide a peaceful haven for diverse wildlife including manatees and playful river otters, giving you an unforgettable training environment far away from heavily trafficked tourist dive sites.
Advanced Course Rates & Options
Course fee includes SDI or PADI online eLearning access, tanks, and weights. Students provide their personal scuba kit or rent our complete regulator, BCD, 5mm wetsuit, and dive computer package for $45.00.
